"Music has a great power for bringing people together. With so many forces in this world acting to drive wedges between people, it's important to preserve those things that help us experience our common humanity". -

MISSION STATEMENT

OUR MISSION is TO GIVE, SUPPORT, and EMPOWER

As a part of a non-profit organization, DMG Music Association, the Beverly Hills International Music Festival (BHIMF) focuses on helping young aspiring and professional musicians develop their skills, expand their repertoire, explore the world of music, and feel supported in their artistic growth. We believe in giving everyone, regardless of their ethnic and cultural background, material and social status, sexual orientation, or age, a fair chance to thrive in the world of music and empower them in every open-minded and inclusive way.

The BHIMF facilitates meaningful connections between students and their mentors by creating personalized programs and providing performing opportunities for all participants. In addition, the vibrant year-round Concert Series features our star students, esteemed faculty, and distinguished guest artists.

We believe in the transformative power of music and are committed to fostering creativity, determination, and a deep appreciation for the musical arts in all members of our community.

In the modern world, where creativity is often considered a luxury, we want to embrace the prospect of building an environment where every mentor is a passionate advocate and a supporter of their students’ aspirations, and every student can fearlessly look forward to their artistic future free of boundaries and limitations.

As a non-profit organization, we appreciate your kind support! Please consider donating today!

We have a variety of levels and rewards, and all contributions are tax-deductible.

OUR SToRY

Founded in 2004 by conductor Gregory Cherninsky, the Beverly Hills International Music Festival has provided talented instrumentalists and vocalists a chance to learn from some of the world's leading musicians, advance their musical studies, develop new techniques, and perform before leading entertainment specialists.

The Festival's young artists will always remember their time with our outstanding faculty. Daily coaching and Master Classes allow students to interact with the faculty while working on their repertoire during private lessons. In addition to studying, hearing performances by internationally acclaimed musicians, and performing side-by-side with their mentors and other participants in the concert setting, students have a unique opportunity to make new friends and explore the cultural and natural treasures that Southern California has to offer.

As part of the BHI Music Festival, Gregory Cherninsky has created the Concert Series, which is designed to showcase the performances of musical guest stars at the glorious Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills.

In 2024, after Mr. Cherninsky's retirement, the BHIMF welcomed Veronica Bell, an internationally acclaimed soprano, concert soloist, and recording artist, as its new Artistic Director. Under her leadership, the Festival continues to grow and expand and will now include Jazz and other music styles in its workshops and concert programs. To find out more about our upcoming concerts, please visit the CONCERT SERIES page.

The BHI Music Festival is committed to providing every student and every performer with a healthy, professional, and unique experience. The Festival is open to individuals and chamber groups, and all musicians are encouraged to attend with their families and friends.
